HELP CHECK (Ver. 1.6)
----------
The CHECK command enables you to view new entries into information files,
sorted by the date. Without parameter, CHECK will show you all new entries
written on or after the day of your last login. If there no new entry been
made within this period of time, CHECK will show you the last message.
Examples:
C : shows all new messages after your last login
C 10 : shows the last 10 messages
C 2- : shows all new messages, beginning with the second
of the list
C -5 : shows the last five messages
C 3-7 : shows messages #3 to #5 of the list
C < K1TWJ : shows all messages written by K1TWJ
C 2-30 < KA4KQK : shows all messages written by KA4KQK within the
range specified
C < KA : shows all messages written by callsigns beginning with KA
C < argument : shows all messages with the "argument". If the argument
has less than three letters, search is restricted to all
headers.
The maximum number of message headers shown by this command is 50. Therefore,
entering "C 99" will result in the same output as if you had entered "C 50".
This restriction has been made in order to keep long file lists away from busy
HF channels. If you want to see more file headers, you can type "C 50-" which
will cause the BBS to show you message headers #50 to #99 from the list.
The sign "#LT" in the header shows you the lifetime of the message.
